SYDNEY: Australia opening batsman David Warner will miss the remainder of the triangular one-day series in the West Indies due to a broken finger but should be fit for the first test against Sri Lanka at the end of July, captain Steve Smith said. Vice-captain Warner suffered the injury while fielding during Saturday’s victory over South Africa in St Kitts. The series also includes hosts West Indies. “I think he is out for the tri-series so the most important thing from my aspect is that he is right for the test series (in Sri Lanka),” Smith said. “I think that’s about six weeks away and the medical staff and Dave are confident he will be fine for that first test match.”
