Air Force School, Subroto Park beat Modern School, Vasant Vihar 2-0 in a one-sided match on day six of the Mahindra Youth Football Challenge here on Tuesday. Vivek and Kamei scored the goals for the winners. In the other match, Modern School, Barakhamba Road defeated DPS, Vasant Kunj 3-2, with Rohan, Neel and Jai scoring a goal each for the winners.

The winners qualified for the quarterfinals that will be played on November 11 and 12.

Imphal school wins

In the Nehru Junior Hockey Tournament, Young Pioneers English School from Imphal thumped G.V. Raja of Trivendrum 9-0, with Meitei and Heramani Singh scoring a brace each. Maharana Pratap Sports College from Raipur beat Sarveshwar Das Nagarpalika Secondary School 3-2, scoring the winning goal in the last possible minute. Motilal Nehru School of Sports from Haryana tied against Chhatarpati Shivaji School Kolhapur 2-2. NCC directorate also beat St. Anthony's High School, from Bardez, four goals to nil.
