England beat Croatia 5-1 in London on Wednesday to book their place in next year's World Cup finals as the winners of European zone group Six.

The victory made it eight wins in eight matches for Fabio Capello's side and put them out of reach of both Croatia and the Ukraine, who will now battle for the runners-up spot and a place in the play-offs.
