Stoke City striker Ricardo Fuller was arrested after an incident at a nightclub in the early hours of Sunday, the Premier League club said on Monday.

Stoke confirmed the news that he had been arrested in the club in Hanley, near Stoke, on their club website. Staffordshire Police said a 30-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of assault.
