Grammy winning rapper Cardi B has alarmingly claimed her life is in danger and raised serious issues about her safety concerns on social media after receiving a new round of online maltreatment linked to her relationship with New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs. The matter became dramatically serious after Cardi confirmed the birth of her fourth child in November 2025.

The storm inviting post

According to Complex, the controversy was escalated when a screenshot of an Instagram Story attributed to Offset began circulating online, appearing to show the former Migos rapper writing "My kid lol" in reference to Cardi and Diggs' newborn son.

According to Rolling Out, Georgia state law assumes a husband is the legal father of any child born during a marriage, regardless of biological paternity, unless formally contested in court. Since Cardi and Offset's divorce is not yet finalised, gossip blogs seized on the legal technicality to allege Offset could technically be identified as the father of Cardi's son with Diggs.

Steffon Diggs is going through legal battle

According to Gridiron Heroics, Diggs has also been dealing with his own legal battles, having filed a lawsuit against an influencer who accused him of drugging and assaulting him at his home, allegations Diggs denied.

Cardi's Reaction

As per E! News, Cardi B posted and then deleted several posts on X saying she was still "being harassed and threatened to the point that I feel like my life in danger" over a year later, and it's "all fun and games until it's too late." In another post referenced by Hot New Hip Hop, Cardi warned that people were doing "anything for attention," and that one "nasty upload could have serious real life consequences" and pleaded to be left alone. Cardi made more allegations of harassment and said there was an "unhealthy obsession" targeting her, while appearing on an X Spaces and referenced true crime.
