The couple confirmed the marriage on Instagram by sharing a photograph of their hands resting over each other.
Cristiano Ronaldo has married his longtime partner, Georgina Rodríguez, after almost a decade together.

The couple confirmed the marriage on Instagram by sharing a photograph of their hands resting over each other, with both seemingly dressed in wedding attire and wearing wedding rings. The post carried the caption, "C❤️G ."
Where did Ronaldo get married?
According to a press release cited by PEOPLE, the 41-year-old married Rodríguez, a model, in a civil ceremony on August 11, 2026, in Cascais, Portugal.
ESPN reported that the wedding took place in the coastal resort town, located roughly 20 miles west of Lisbon.
The ceremony was described as a “private and intimate moment” and was attended by the couple’s five children.
Engagement came one year earlier
The wedding came exactly one year after Rodríguez announced their engagement on Instagram on August 11, 2025.
At the time, Rodríguez shared a photograph showing her hand resting over Ronaldo’s, prominently displaying her large oval-shaped diamond engagement ring.

“Sí, quiero. En esta y en todas mis vidas,” Rodríguez wrote in the caption, which translates to, “Yes, I do. In this and in all my lives.”
Ronaldo and Rodriguez’s kids
Ronaldo and Rodríguez are parents to five children: twins Eva Maria and Mateo, 9, daughter Alana, 8, daughter Bella, 4, and Cristiano Jr., 16, whom Ronaldo welcomed from a previous relationship.
Relationship timeline
The couple’s relationship began in 2017, when Ronaldo first met Rodríguez while she was working as a sales assistant at a Gucci store. The pair made their first major public appearance together that January at the Best FIFA Football Awards in Zurich.
A few months later, in May 2017, Ronaldo and Rodríguez made their relationship official on social media when the football star shared a photograph featuring the two of them.
Looking back on Cristiano Ronaldo’s unexpected marriage proposal during a December 2025 interview with Elle Spain, Rodríguez revealed that the moment caught her completely off guard and left her “shocked.”
“The truth is, when he proposed, it was the last thing on my mind,” she told the magazine. “It took me a long time to process the enormous stone he gave me. I was so shocked that I left it in my room and didn’t open it in the sunlight until the next day," she mentioned.
