Cutoffs for UG courses in DU likely to rise this year

The highest number of applications yet and an increase in the number of students who scored above 90% in their class 12 CBSE exams may lead to an increase in the cutoffs for undergraduate courses at Delhi University this year

LIC Assistant Mains exam 2019 analysis: Know expected cutoff

The online examination comprised separate set of question papers for Part A and B states and Part C states. In both the papers, candidates had to answer a total of 200 multiple choice questions in 2 hours and 30 minutes.

69,000 teachers’ job exam: HC to hear case today on raising cutoff

Appellants challenged the single judge order which quashed the government order through which the qualifying marks for the examination for recruitment of 69,000 assistant teachers was raised to 65 and 60 from 45 and 40.

Mumbai FYJC first merit list to release today: More seats, fewer aspirants might give students a relief

Approximately 2.11 lakh students submitted online applications for seats this year as opposed to 2.31 lakh students in 2018. Of these, 1.85 lakh students will be eligible for admissions in the general admission rounds that start today. There are 3.19 lakh seats across 849 junior colleges in the MMR.

FYJC cut-offs in minority colleges of Mumbai dip

While the cut-off for the seats under the minority quota for the Science stream went down from 80.8% in 2018 to 77.2% this year, the cut-off list for the Arts stream the went down from 86.2% to 84%. College principal Rajendra Shinde was not available to comment on the development.
