The continuous downpour led to waterlogging at agitation venues and waterproof tents did not help much, according to the protesters.

Delhi borders remain closed due to farmers’ stir, traffic diverted

For those coming to Delhi from Uttar Pradesh, the traffic police advised them to take routes passing through Anand Vihar, DND, Loni DND and Apsara borders, which have remained mostly unaffected.

The apex court has ordered the government to arrive at a consensus with regard to allowing interstate transport between Delhi and the neighbouring states of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.

Delhi borders sealed for one week, only essential services allowed

While announcing Unlock-1, the Union Home Ministry said there shall be no restriction on inter-state and intra-state movement of persons and goods and no additional permission will be required for such travels.
