Mumbai police move court seeking cancellation of Rana couple's bail

The police sought that the couple's bail be cancelled on the ground that they had allegedly violated one of the conditions imposed by the special court while granting them bail last week.

Navneet and Ravi Rana were granted bail by a Mumbai sessions court on Wednesday (May 4), and the duo walked out of prison the following day. Navneet was pictured leaving Byculla women's prison in Mumbai, while Ravi left Taloja jail in neighbouring Navi Mumbai.

Byculla officials neglected MP Navneet Rana's health issues, says husband

Independent MP Navneet Rana left Mumbai's Byculla jail at around 2pm Thursday, while her MLA husband Ravi Rana left Navi Mumbai's Taloja jail two hours later. The couple, who were held in the Hanuman Chalisa row, were granted bail on Wednesday.
