BTS V Layover: Music influences to fashion, Kim Taehyung shows Jazz connection

As BTS' ‘secret weapon’ V aka Kim Taehyung dropped his solo debut album, titled Layover, on September 8, 2023, TaeTae shared that he “always had the desire” to try making jazz-inspired music as he grew up listening to it as a “source of comfort” hence, wanted to “return the feeling for ARMY”.
