Delhi: Stray dogs maul 3-year-old girl to death in Moti Nagar

The child’s father, who is a gardener, was working at the park when the incident took place, said the police. The statements of the parents have been recorded and a case has been registered. Police said they are yet to receive the autopsy report.

Massive fire breaks out at Harley Davidson showroom in Delhi

“A fire broke out at a motorcycle showroom in Delhi’s Moti Nagar in the early hours of the day. Twenty-five fire tenders were rushed to the spot, and the blaze was brought under control around 5.50am. No casualties,” the Delhi Fire Service (DFS) said.

Cancer patient’s husband robbed on way to hospital in Ludhiana

Two motorcycle-borne miscreants robbed a 64-year-old man of ₹19,000 and a mobile phone near Sherpur Chowk on Sunday evening when he was on way to pay his wife’s hospital bills. The victim, Bidhi Chand, of Una of Himachal Pradesh said he had arranged the money for paying the medical bill of his wife, Sulochana Devi, a cancer patient, who underwent surgery at the Mohan Dai Oswal Cancer Hospital here on January 8.

Close shave for 10 students as driver dies of heart attack in Ludhiana

As many as 10 students of Ryan International School, Jamalpur, had a close shave on Wednesday morning when their bus driver suffered a heart attack behind the wheel and rammed the bus into a sand pile near Mohandai Oswal Hospital. Though the students escaped unhurt, the driver identified as Jaspal Singh, 45, of Phase 1, Dugri, succumbed to the heart attack.

The Special Task Force (STF) arrested a 35-year-old man with 500gm heroin late on Monday. Police said the recovered heroin costs ₹2.5 crore in the international market.
