Mumbaiites to be penalised for dumping trash in nullahs, near railway tracks

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) will now penalise citizens, with the maximum penalty up to 1,250, guilty of dumping trash in nullahs and public places around railway stations, tracks and slums.

‘Completed 87% desilting in major nullahs’: BMC

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, which submitted its progress report to BMC chief Praveen Pardeshi, has also claimed it has finished 86.68% of its desilting work on the Mithi river.
