PMRDA starts land acquisition to develop roads in Mhalunge-Maan

The scheme will benefit 5,800 beneficiaries, allowing landowners to regain 50% of the developed land in the same area where the arbitration process took place.

After hunger strike by Chandivali residents, BMC floats 28-cr tender to build 90ft road

HT was the first to report on residents’ demand for the road on January 29. Once built, the road is expected to prove to be a big relief for Chandivali residents, who have to grapple daily with terrible traffic situations and spend nearly 30 to 45 minutes reaching JVLR. The 90-feet road will drastically reduce this time.

1 lakh km of road built using plastic waste, govt aims to double it

Plastic has been used in the 270-kilometre-long Jammu Kashmir National highway. About 1.6 tonne of plastic waste was used in the two-kilometre-long stretch of Delhi-Meerut highway news UP Gate, according to Hindustan.

Govt weighs new employment options for migrant returnees

Arunachal Pradesh villagers near China border forego land compensation for road construction

Bishing village, the last Indian village closest to the McMohan Line, which demarcates the boundary between China’s Tibet region and Arunachal Pradesh, is home to around 100 people, mostly from the Memba tribe.
