Kumar has been India’s most promising Greco-Roman wrestler in recent times. He won gold medals twice in the Asian under-23 championships, in 2018 and 2019. This year, he won silver in the world ranking series event in Rome. The Indian contingent has high hopes from the Sonepat wrestler.

70-yr-old succumbs to injuries two days after neighbour attacks her

A 70-year-old woman succumbed to her injuries two days after her neighbour attacked her with a hoe following a minor spat on Thursday. Her 35-year-old daughter, who is mentally disabled, was critically injured in the attack. Police have arrested their neighbour Sajjan Singh, 45, on the complaint of the victim’s son.

Man stabbed to death by relatives after an argument

According to the police, the incident took place around 9am when Hetram had gone to a dairy owned by his relative to settle an argument that took place on Friday night.

Gurugram serial killer’s police custody extended by a day

Gurugram serial killer’s family left city fearing mob violence, moved back to village in Jhansi

According to the family members of Sunil Kumar, their neighbours, upon learning of Kumar’s arrest on November 20, allegedly barged into their shanty and asked them to leave the area. The family had called the police, fearing mob action, but was advised by the police to go to their village for safety reasons.

Gurugram minor rape case: Skeleton of minor raped and murdered recovered after 5 years in Gwalior

Following a lead given by Kumar, the investigating team managed to recover a girl’s skeletal remains in Gwalior on Saturday and her clothes, which were partially burnt and buried near the body. The clothes have been sent for a forensic examination. Kumar had placed a heavy stone at the spot to prevent suspicion, the police said
