On Monday, a group of annoyed residents of Sushant Lok 3 wrote to the Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN), seeking intervention of top officials to fix the problem of frequent power outage.

The GMDA supplies water from the Sector 16 boosting station (located near Signature Tower on the Delhi-Gurgaon expressway) to DLF 1-5, Sushant Lok 1, South City 1, Suncity Sector 54, sectors 1 to 23, Civil Lines and other areas on daily basis.

These proceedings stem from a petition filed by a resident, Praveen Kakkar, in September 2018, in which he alleged that there has been widespread encroachment of the colony’s green and common areas, in addition to other environment law violations.

CPCB to fix violations of green laws in Sushant Lok, project closure unlikely

On December 13, a special committee, constituted by the NGT, concluded that the developer, Ansal Buildwell, was in violation of various green norms, such as starting construction without environmental clearances among others in the Sushant Lok 1 project.
