A love that defied norms

According to the post, Harsh, a Jain boy, and Mrunu, a Brahmin girl, fell in love in school in the 1960s. Their romance blossomed through stolen glances and handwritten letters at a time when love marriages were rare. When Mrunu’s family rejected the idea of their union, she made a bold decision—she left a note with a friend that read, "I am not coming back."

The couple ran away to start a life together with nothing but love and determination. Their wedding was a simple affair, with Mrunu’s saree costing just 10. There were no grand celebrations, just a promise of togetherness.

The wedding they always dreamed of

Now, decades later, their children and grandchildren decided to fulfil their lifelong dream by giving them a grand wedding ceremony. The viral video beautifully narrates their journey, highlighting how for the first time in 64 years, they were apart—only for the wedding preparations.

The emotional post concluded with a powerful message: "True love is not about how long you wait; it's about how strong you hold on."
