Karan Johar shoots with Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt for his TV chat show. "Together, they met Karan after a long time. There was no room for any controversy as the trio has just started their careers," says an insider.

Last year, he built the dream launch-pad in Bollywood for Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt (with Student of The Year). Now, as film-maker Karan Johar starts shooting for his talk show, the three actors have again come together with Karan.

We have come to know that the three actors shot their episode with Karan on Tuesday at Filmistan studios in Goregaon. “Together, they met Karan after a long time. There was no room for any controversy as the trio has just started their careers,” says an insider.

“After the film released, Varun, Sidharth and Alia became busy with their respective films and didn’t spend much time with each other. So they had lots to share. In fact, Karan had a number of things to tell them when the cameras weren’t rolling,” adds the insider.

Besides the young trio, Karan has already shot with cousins, Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor, where they talked about their careers in an uninhibited manner. “They shared a great camaraderie. There wasn’t even an iota of discomfort,” says the insider. If the buzz is to be believed, Salman Khan will also shoot an episode with Karan which, in all likelihood, will be the first episode of the show’s new season.
