Balika Vadhu is IPL-proof!

One of the few serials that is doing well in TRPs when everything else is failing is Balika Vadhu. Of late it has been in the news because of Farida Jalal's entry and now, the music guru.

. Of late it has been in the news for a number of reasons.

Firstly because of Farida Jalal (she plays the role of the elder sister of Surekha Sikri) who managed to salvage the serial's TRPs which had nosedived after the death of Pratap (Jehangir Vakil). The viewers are really happy to see the changes in the house after Badi Jiji (Farida Jalal) stepped in.

But the producers are not taking any chances. They just want to ensure that IPL or not,

remains on top of the TRP charts. They have recently introduced a new character -- Niranjan (being played by Rahul Lohani) -- the music teacher for Gehna (Neha Marda). And in the month of May, they are going to introduce another character called Krishna (being played by Vikrant Massay of Dharamveer fame) -- who might pair up with Suguna (Vibha Anand).

Rahul and Neha Marda (Gehna) have worked together in Saath Rahega Always a couple of years back and were popular for their good on-screen chemistry.
