Big Bang contract talks didn't affect show: Mayim Bialik

"We were all still on hiatus when all that started up and I think everyone was just excited to get back. I was not part of negotiations, my contract has been done since last year, so we were all just ready to go back to work," she said.

Production on the upcoming eighth season was delayed until Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons and Kaley Cuoco signed new deals in July, following weeks of intense negotiations.

Bialik, 38, said the negotiations have had no impact at all on plans for the new season, reported Deadline. She said, "We were all still on hiatus when all that started up and I think everyone was just excited to get back. I was not part of negotiations, my contract has been done since last year, so we were all just ready to go back to work."

The Big Bang Theory returns on September 22 on CBS.
