I’d love to date a guy without marriage being on the cards: Nia Sharma
Jamai Raja actor Nia Sharma is keen to date and is wondering why she is still single.
Nia Sharma doesn’t mince words. The actor, who has worked in hit TV shows such as Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, among others, has been in the news for her personal life too. In the past, she has been linked with co-stars Varun Jain and Kushal Tandon, but Nia doesn’t mind the attention.
“There is no point to rumours. There were bogus rumours that did the rounds, but you can’t do anything about that. You can’t let them affect you. Kushal and I were not dating. We were friends, and still are. How do you tell people the truth? The more you explain, the more people talk. Over time, people will know the truth. I was single five years ago, and I am still single,” she says.
The 26-year-old is, in fact, interested in dating, but says no one wants to date her. “What do I do?” she asks, adding, “Seriously, I am surprised that I am not dating anyone. Now, in fact, is the time when I should be [dating]. I would love to meet a guy without the goal of marriage or a serious affair in mind. I am open to dating someone, but the guy should be good-looking, handsome and chilled out.”
