Drashti Dhami

was replaced by Manish Paul as the host of a celebrity dance reality show, there has been a lot of talk on the social media about co-host Ranvir Shorey, too, being on his way out.

Buzz was that VJ Andy, who was the first participant to be evicted this season, might replace

Ranvir Shorey

. The speculation started when Andy retweeted a fan’s comment on his Twitter account which said, 'Do you think @iAmVJAndy should replace @RanvirShorey….'

After keeping mum on the issue, last week, Ranvir spoke up in an interview, refuting rumours that he is leaving the show. He also made an oblique comment on how the rumour was started by some people who had an "overenthusiastic PR machinery".

Meanwhile, Andy isn’t too happy with the fact that he’s being blamed for the rumours. "If Ranvir feels that I spread rumours, so be it. He has the right to feel whatever he likes. I’m secure in the knowledge that I did no such thing."

Ask him about the tweet and he says, "I retweet a post when there is something that catches my attention or something I want my Twitter followers to see."
