Actor Jennifer Winget says that television audience needs time to adapt to change.

Actor Jennifer Winget who has worked in the television industry for 16 years now, believes that the audience has not yet experienced good content.

“Any kind of change takes time. We particularly don’t watch typical saas- bahu sagas but they there are people who survive on such shows. Some people can relate to it and some can’t. Television is just delivering what is in demand,” says Winget, who is currently seen in the show Beyhadh.

The actor believes that the way the audience has started accepting new kind of films in Bollywood, television audience will also change.“Experimental films are working now and it took some time for them to become popular. A couple of years back, people would have not liked films like Pink or Parched. You have to tell the audience that ‘This is what you are watching’ but this is what we will get and that is something new,” says the actor.

Talking about the trend of finite series, the actor says, “I think finite series gives you more time to write down your journey in any show. When it’s a finite series, you know the start and know your end. The writers and actors know what is going to happen, so the interest is not lost.”
