Twilight star Taylor Lautner has joined the cast of Scream Queens season two. The 24-year-old will appear as Dr Cassidy Cascade on the Fox series.

Taylor revealed the news through his Instagram page. (Twitter)

He took to Instagram to reveal his excitement, reported Female First.

Big news everyone!! Thrilled to be joining @screamqueensFox it's going to be such a blast playing Dr. Cassidy Cascade. The season 2 premiere is Tuesday, September 20 at 9pm on Fox!

Lautner’s character is a doctor, who suffers from a strange medical condition and becomes a suspect when a series of tragic events plagues the institution.

Season one stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer, Billie Lourd, Glen Powell and Niecy Nash will return for the second series with Lauter.
