We need to rise above our mental block regarding TV: Ayub Khan

"The target of an actor is to be seen and appreciated, the medium doesn’t really matter. I think all these mental blocks about television and films are in the minds of the people," says Ayub Khan, who has found huge popularity on television.

Actor Ayub Khan rose to fame on the silver screen over two decades ago, with the film Mashooq (1992), but his recent television stints have made him a household name. That’s possibly the reason why the actor has no regrets about switching to the small screen.

While he plays the role of a doting father in a popular TV show, we ask him if he is the same in real life. "You have to ask my daughters that question. I do relate to the role and in real life, my daughters are the ones who bully me," says the actor.
