On Valentine's Day our popular television actors tell us what their plans are for the day of love!
Actor Aishwarya Sakhuja, who shot to fame as Toasty of TV show Saas Bina Sasural, is looking forward to spending some quality time with herself today. “On Valentine’s Day, I usually don’t have any special day to express my love... but I like the festivities in the air that these young couples bring to this day.
If I get an off from my schedule, I would spend some quality time with myself and food because that’s my first love,” says Sakhuja.
Former Bigg Boss contestant and Kunal Chopra from the TV show Parichay, Samir plans to make the day special for his wife and former actor-turned-jewellery designer Neelam. “For me, every day is Valentine’s Day. I don’t think you need a special to day
to tell someone you love him or her but the hectic schedule of life hardly leaves any
time for that. Probably this is why Valentine’s Day came into existence. I’ll make today a memorable day for Neelam and me,” he says.
This Bidaai fame actor, who is currently seen as Pinto Singh in Afsar Bitiya recently married his long-term girlfriend Divya, and has plans to spend the day with her. “For me every day is a Valentine’s Day and I try and make Divya feel special. Though I’ll be shooting today, I’ll ensure to make my wife feel like a Queen. A candlelight dinner along with my horrible singing should make her feel special,” he says.
The actor, also known as Hitler Didi will be spending her V-Day chilling out with her close friends. “I’m single, so I don’t have that ‘someone special’ to celebrate this day with. So, I’m making plans with my close friends who have made my living in Mumbai much easier. I will also pamper myself by shopping for something special and of course, no Valentine’s Day will be complete without some chocolate,” says Pandey.

Valentine's day is not just about sharing it with someone who you love, but sharing it with someone who has been an integral part of your life and for me, Gauri and both my kids are the most important to me. So I will spend the day with my family and In case I don't have a shoot that day, I would love to take Gauri out for a special evening. Although deciding on a special gift is difficult, I will ensure that she feels special.
Mitali Nag aka Krishna of Afsar Bitiya
I think the greeting card companies have brainwashed the youth of the nation by saying that Valentine’s Day should only be celebrated with your boyfriend or girlfriend. I think if you want to celebrate a day dedicated to love, then you should spend it with people who are special & hold close to your heart.
School days were the best as we would look forward to be someone’s Valentine on V-Day. Once a very close school friend, who had a huge crush on me, played a prank on me to find out whether I had any feelings for him. I still chuckle when I think of those days. Today commercialization of the day has killed the innocence.
Shashank Vyas aka Jagya Balika Vadhu
“I think it’s very important for all of us to do what we love, and I love what I do. Acting is my passion and for me, Valentine’s Day is a day you spend with the people whom you love the most. So this Valentine’s Day I will be with my first love which is my work.”
Avika Gaur aka Roli from Sasural Simar Ka
“Valentines Day to me is the red day. Red is the color of love and I love the thought of making this day special whether it is by giving a bunch of red roses or heart shaped chocolates, shiny giftswrapped with a red ribbon or by just by spending some quality time with my loved ones. This Valentine’s Day I will spend time with my friends and family as I love them the most.”
Deepika Samsung aka Simar from Sasural Simar Ka
Valentine’s Day is about spending the day with that special someone. It doesn’t have to be your lover; it can be your gang of girls, or your best friend or even your sibling. This Valentine’s Day is going to be like a Mother’s Day out for me, I want to take my mother for dinner and maybe splurge on some mouth-watering desert.
Adtiya Redij aka Rajbeer of Sanware Sabke Sapne - Preeto
As you know we shoot for almost 14 to 16 hours a day, so on this Valentine’s Day will go out for a refreshing dine, followed by a long drive. Message to my fans will be - go out, have fun on this lovely day but make sure that you don’t mess up with cops.
Tabrez Khan aka Vihaan of Baba Aiso Var Dhoondo
I never plan things as it never happens that way. But on this Valentine's Day, one thing is for sure that I will gift something to my wife, probably a diamond ring as you know diamonds are girl’s best friend. Message to my fans will be - enjoy this valentine’s day will full enthusiasm and make this day a special day of your life as love will be all around on this auspicious day.
Shakti Arora of Gyaan Guru
Valentine’s Day for me is not necessarily for the couples or loved ones, for me it is the day to chill out with friends and family. I am hoping that I get a day off on this day or will end up spending this day with the crew of Gyaan Guru. But you know what I like most about Valentine’s Day is that this day is not only celebrated in India but all over the world. Message to my fans will be - sing and dance on the tunes of this lovely day. Have a rocking Valentine….. !!!!!!
Kashif aka Saahil of Haar Jeet
