Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal are among over 3.16 million voters served notices following the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. The Delhi Chief Electoral Officer has flagged voters under two categories: “no mapping” and “logical discrepancies”. Of the 9.75 million electors in the draft roll, over 1.37 million were marked “no mapping” and 1.93 million were tagged with logical discrepancies. Voters must submit responses and required documents to electoral authorities. The Election Commission is expected to decide the notices by October 29, with Delhi’s final electoral roll scheduled for November 4.
