- The White House has issued a fresh warning to Russia on invading Ukraine. Citing that Russia would have to face severe consequences in face of any such incursion, US President Joe Biden said that he did not believe his Russian counterpart - Vladimir Putin wants a war, but yet has created a situation that is proving extremely difficult to defuse. Biden also warned that Russia's economy would be in trouble at hands of his allies and NATO if Russia decides to move in Ukraine. The west is seeing Russia's troops in its ally land - Belarus for joint military drills as a build-up of aggression against the Ukraine. Russia meanwhile, has denounced US President Joe Biden for saying that "disaster" waited Kremlin if it attacked Kiev. Russia added that such statements can facilitate the destabilisation of the current situation.
