At least 100 killed in dust storms across north India

Powerful dust storms across north and west India on Wednesday have killed at least 68 people and injured hundreds more in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand along with uprooting trees and disrupting power supply in Punjab and Haryana. At least 42 people were killed in four districts of western UP, 36 in Agra, three in Bijnore, two in Saharanpur and one in Bareilly, state government officials said. UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed the district magistrates of the four districts to carry out relief and rescue operations immediately.
