Dolphin washed up on shore of Fort Kochi Beach

A carcass of a dolphin was found washed up at the shore of Fort Kochi Beach. The cause of its death is still unknown. The head of Fishery environment management division said that lack of food may be the reason for this. She even blamed the ships for beaching of marine mammals. In the last few years there have been a number of cases of whales being washed up on the Indian coast. Shipping and global warming are said to be the reason for increased cases.
