Covid update: Trump says he’s immune; new inhaler vaccine; India new flights

From the Union government revealing that 5 of India's worst-hit states also account for over 50% of the total recoveries, to researchers looking at a new vaccine which may be inhaled - here are the top news updates on the Covid-19 pandemic. India's recovery rate - the ratio of recovered patients to total cases - has reached 86.17%. However, the country also went from 60 lakh total cases to 70 lakh in less than 2 weeks. Meanwhile, airlines are starting fresh flights from October 12 in the hope of increased demand during festive season. Amid the race to develop a vaccine, researchers are looking at vaccines which can be inhaled, in the belief that targeting Covid virus' points of attack - nose and mouth - may be more effective. In international news, Donald Trump, President of the United States of America (USA) said that 'it seems' that he is immune to Covid. Trump's doctor has said that he is not a transmission risk, as the President plans to restart campaigning ahead of the November 3 election.
