- Russia has hit back over Europe's claims that Moscow was blackmailing Poland and Bulgaria by cutting off gas supply to the 2 nations. The Kremlin said that the halt of natural gas supplies to Poland and Bulgaria over the refusal to pay in Rubles was a result of unfriendly actions towards Russia. Earlier, Russian state energy giant Gazprom said in a statement that it had fully halted supplies to Polish gas company PGNiG and Bulgaria's Bulgargaz after they refused to meet a demand by Moscow to pay in Rubles, rather than Euros or Dollars. What impact is Russia's move going to leave on the European nations? Find out in this video.
