Chennaiyin FC beat ATK 2-1 in Indian Super League

Chennaiyin FC moved to the top of the Indian Super League (ISL) standings on Thursday after a 2-1 win over ATK in Kolkata. Martin Paterson gave the defending champions the lead in the 44th minute, but Chennaiyin hit back through Mailson Alves and Jeje Lalpekhlua in the second half to pick all three points. Bengaluru FC, who are currently third and two points behind Chennaiyin, have, however, a game in hand, while FC Goa, further two points behind, have two games in hand.
