Politicians' free electricity vows hurting discoms? Nirmala's advice #HTLS2021

Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman said the Centre is engaging in talks with states on how discoms overdue payment can be sorted out. “Many of the states offer free electricity… whoever provides it for free will have to make a provision in their budget for payment,” said the Union finance minister.
