Watch| ‘India helping Lanka prevent second wave of bombings’

India had sent as many as three alerts to Sri Lanka, including one on the day of the Easter Sunday attack that has left at least 359 people dead and over 500 injured, according to senior intelligence officials. Hindustan Times' Shishir Gupta who is in touch with officials at Indian security agencies, says another alert has also been sent to Sri Lanka about a second NTJ team led by Jal al-Quital alias Rilwan Marzag that could carry out more attacks. The alert about a possible second wave of blasts was sent by India immediately after the Easter Sunday attack. India has also alerted Sri Lanka about Noufar Moulavi, brother-in-law of Zahran Hasim who has flown to Sri Lanka from Qatar and has taken over charge of Wilayat Sri Lanka.
