130 crore Indians showed national interest supreme: PM Modi on Ayodhya ruling

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation on Sunday via his 'Mann Ki Baat' radio programme. He commented on the recent Supreme Court verdict on the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid dispute. PM Modi said that the aftermath of the judgment had proved that 130 crore Indians consider national interest to be supreme. He also said that the reaction to the ruling showed that values of peace, unity and harmony are paramount in the country. In his radio address before the SC ruling, PM had invoked the 'balanced' response to the Allahabad High Court judgment on Ayodhya.
