1984 anti-Sikh riots: SC forms new SIT to reopen, probe 186 cases

The Supreme Court set up a new Special Investigation Team (SIT) on January 10, 2018, to reopen and examine 186 cases from the 1984 anti-Sikh riots in Delhi. Former Delhi HC judge SN Dhingra will head the three-member SIT.
