Soldiers of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police were felicitated for gallantry in Ladakh earlier this year. They were reportedly rewarded for bravery against Chinese forces in the months of May and June this year. Indian and Chinese forces have been eyeball-to-eyeball along the Line of Actual Control in Ladakh. In June, India lost 20 soldiers during a violent clash with soldiers of China's People's Liberation Army (PLA). The Chinese also lost soldiers but didn't declare the number. ITBP Director General SS Deswal honoured 291 personnel of the force during his week-long trip to Ladakh. He also interacted with soldiers during Sainik Sammelans organised at border outposts. DG Deswal also paid tributes at the Hot Springs Police Memorial. Watch the full video for more.
