Amid Maharashtra deadlock, Sharad Pawar to meet PM Modi

NCP Chief Sharad Pawar is all set to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The meeting comes in the backdrop of the deadlock over government formation in Maharashtra, where NCP, Congress and Shiv Sena are currently exploring the possibility of forming a government in the state. NCP leader Nawab Malik said that Pawar will discuss the plight of Maharashtra farmers with the Prime Minister and seek relief for them. The meeting also comes days after PM Modi praised NCP MPs for their discipline in Parliament.
