Article 370 abrogation splits Congress, leaders speak in multiple voices

Modi government's move to abrogate Article 370 has divided the Congress party. While Rahul Gandhi and other senior leaders opposed the move, some other party leaders openly contradicted the party's stand and backed the government's decision.The major dissenting voices were senior leader and Gandhi family loyalist Janardan Dwivedi & Deepender Hooda. Responding to the Congress leaders backing the government's stand, senior leader Ghulam Nabi Azad asked them to read the history of Jammu and Kashmir and the Congress party.
