At UN meet, US and UK slam Pakistan, China for persecuting minorities

Pakistan & China faced flak at the UN meet on safety of religious minorities for suppression of religious freedom. UK, US and Canada expressed concerns over the increasing, widespread and undue restrictions on religious freedom in the two countries. They highlighted the discrimination faced by the Uyghur community in China and christians, ahmadis, hindus and other minorities in Pakistan.
