Chintalnar village in Chhattisgarh will now get electricity after 15 years. This Chhattisgarh village has been under the Maoist influence for the last 15 years. It is said the back then the Maoists had destroyed the power supply to the village and many other such villages in the state. All these years, the village was getting minimum supply via an alternate source of solar energy. However, that did not fulfill the electricity requirement for heavy appliances. The people are now happy that they will be able to watch TV and use a fridge.
