‘Must prepare for...’: MP Congress as Jyotiraditya Scindia, over 20 MLAs quit

Congress leaders commented on the political crisis in Madhya Pradesh. With senior leader Jyotiraditya Scindia quitting the Congress, and over 20 Members of the Legislative Assembly, considered close to him, following suit, Congress leader Laxman Singh said that the party must prepare itself for sitting in Opposition. Leader of Congress party in the Lok Sabha, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury took a dig at Scindia, saying that while he was like a king in the Congress, he would be a commoner in the BJP. A day earlier, former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Digvijaya Singh had said that true Congressmen would remain with the party.
