Day after swearing-in, PM Modi’s marathon meetings with foreign dignitaries

A day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi was administered the oath of office and secrecy, he held marathon meetings with visiting foreign dignitaries. PM Modi held bilaterals with Nepal's PM KP Oli, Mauritian PM Pravind Jugnauth, Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena, Bhutanese PM Lotay Tshering, and Bangladesh's President Abdul Hamid. A day earlier, PM Modi had held talks with Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov. PM Modi had invited heads of states which are part of BIMSTEC, the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation, for his swearing-in ceremony.
