Ease of doing business has improved: PM Modi in Uttarakhand

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on his Uttarakhand visit to attend Uttarakhand Investors Summit in Dehradun. He said that the ease of doing business has improved in recent times. “The ease of doing business has improved. To bring this improvement, we have abolished over 1400 laws. We have also brought about changes in the taxation system. Doing business has become easier due to the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code. The banking system has strengthened. With the GST, India has seen its biggest tax reform since independence.”
