Exit polls outlook and global sell-off makes Sensex, Nifty jittery
Updated on Dec 10, 2018 02:45 pm IST
Market remained unsteady as both Sensex, Nifty fell down by many points on December 10. The benchmark BSE Sensex slumped over 650 points ahead of declaration of elections results. National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty also slumped 172.95 points, or 1.62%, to 10,520.75. All stocks in the index were trading in the red. Metals, infrastructure, pharmaceuticals and banks were the top losers. Rupee opened at low against the dollar as it plummeted. Rising crude oil prices, exit poll projections could be the possible factor for the slump.
