Fuel prices continue to decline on Wednesday

Fuel prices witnessed further reduction on Wednesday. The reduction provided some relief to consumers from the relentless rate hikes. Petrol price in Delhi was revised to Rs 81.25 per litre after a reduction of 0.09 paise. In Mumbai, petrol costs Rs 86.73 per litre after reduction of 0.08 paise. Diesel is being sold at Rs 74.85 per litre in Delhi and Rs 78.46 per litre in Mumbai. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, announced a reduction of Rs 2.50 per litre on both petrol and diesel prices after curbing excise duty on the commodity by Rs 1.50 per litre.
