Kejriwal announces scheme for house tenants, introduces prepaid electricity meters

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday announced a new scheme for house tenants. The Delhi CM announced 'Mukhyamantri Kirayedaar Bijli Meter Yojna' under which tenants will be provided with prepaid electricity meters. The move comes after Kejriwal had earlier announced water tariff sops. Assembly elections for Delhi are scheduled for early next year.
