MK Stalin filed nomination for the post of president of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) today. Before filing nominations, Stalin sought blessings from his mother. He met senior party leader Anbazhagan as well. Stalin visited memorials of Karunanidhi and Annadurai.
Stalin's older brother Alagiri recently described him as an ineffective working president. Alagiri, who was expelled from the DMK by his father, the late Karunanidhi, said he would “definitely” return to active politics. However, he doesn't think the DMK will re-induct him.
