PM Modi & Xi discussed trade & threat from terrorism : Foreign Secretary

Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale said that PM Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping discussed trade and terror related issues on the first day of the informal summit in Mamallapuram. He said that both countries acknowledged the threat emanating from terror and resolved to fight the menace together. Gokhale added that the issue of trade deficit was also discussed by the two leaders. The Foreign Secretary also said that both leaders lauded the Tamil Nadu government for the arrangements made for the meeting.
