North India Floods | Yamuna breaches danger mark, Delhi on high alert

Flood situation is North India has deteriorated. Incessant rainfall led to floods in various parts of Punjab. Huge amount of crops have been damaged in Lodhipur village of Punjab's Anandpur Sahib. Residents in the area have also been adversely affected. Heavy downpour has also thrown life out of gear in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Water level in Yamuna crossed the 'danger mark' this morning. It rose to 205.94 metres, 0.61 metres above the danger level. Delhi govt issued a flood alert for the city yesterday.
